degree in Engineering or Physics from accredited institute.
? 0 to 3 years of work experience in industry or graduate level lab experience.
? Familiarity in following fields:
Material Science, Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Flow, Mechanical Design.
Knowledge of Vacuum Technology and Cryogenics preferred but not required.
? Experience using MS office products, 2D and 3D CAD software.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from existing 3D models and to follow industry drawing standards.
? Create 3D models and complete detailed assemblies.
? Support senior engineers in completion of projects in timely fashion.
? Understanding of the manufacturing process such as machining, welding, brazing, epoxying, and part fitting.
? Ensuring safe, careful, and efficient setup of laboratory equipment for testing.
Lab may require moving bulky equipment for a few hours in a day.
? Setup units for data acquisition and ensure that data is accessible by the company.
? Analyze data and report findings to senior engineers.
? Prepare comprehensive reports, either in writing or verbally, and present to management.
? Support manufacturing operations and solve issues as necessary.
? Occasional travel to end user locations to install company products.

? Ability to excel individually and as a part of a team.
? Have a positive, problem-solving attitude.
? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment ? Ability to switch between tasks and handle priority tasks in a timely manner.
