52 Community Services for Children is Seeking a Self-motivated, high performance individual with strong maintenance background for a rewarding career as a Maintenance Specialist.
The position is responsible for working from instructions, blue prints, diagrams and manuals to perform troubleshooting and minor repairs.
Perform basic interior and exterior carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.

Work Environment:
A $500 monetary incentive will be paid to newly employed Community Services for Children staff members.
The $500 payout will be paid upon successful completion of probation.
Job
Responsibilities:
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance such as:
Carpentry:
Installation and repair of doors, window, and associated hardware.
Construction of interior partitions, drywall installation, installation and repair of ceiling and flooring systems.
Finish carpentry work including molding, counter tops and cabinet installation.
Plumbing:
Ability to troubleshoot and fix water closets, water fountains, lavatories, etc.
Electrical:
Replace outlets/switches, change light bulbs, replace electrical fixtures, etc.
HVAC:
Install/replace diffusers and returns, change filters, repair minor HVAC ductwork.
Account for all deliveries made to the agency, accurately track receipts and bills of laden for processing against purchase orders.
Make deliveries to all agency owned and leased locations.
Position is considered essential personnel and is required to provide various duties and maintenance services during and outside normal working hours and during agency closures.
Maintaining an inventory of all items entered and taken out of any storage area.
Snow removal as required and directed.
Event set-ups and office/equipment moves as required.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED is required.
Five years of experience in Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance trades.
Demonstrated proficiency with specialized power equipment.
Ability to read and understand basic drawings and blueprints.
Basic knowledge and understanding of Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, HVAC trades.
Able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and lift 50 pounds.
Complete work under time and within scheduling constraints.
