Paychex is looking for high-energy, driven professionals to join our Sales Development organization.
Sales Development Representatives focus on targeted prospecting to create sales opportunities for selling partners.
Consult with potential clients, leveraging expertise in Paychex product and services to enable clients to thrive leveraging Paychex services that meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities:
Generates appointments for sales representatives through daily outbound targeted telephone sales.
Builds rapport with prospects by nurturing and conducting engaging conversations Partners with selling representatives to strategically target accounts and identify potential opportunities for Paychex Articulates competitive advantages by highlighting our differentiators and has an expertise in overall value proposition tied to Paychex's suite of products and services.
Effectively manage open opportunities and maintain data updates within the CRM (salesforce.
com) to ensure an effective pipeline is being nurtured
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred H.
S.
Diploma - Required 1 year of experience in 0-1 year of experience in lead gen or a blend of sales experience and business coursework.
Compensation:
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay for this position is $22/hr
commission.
Please keep in mind that this is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
