Luther Crest is a large Continuing Care Retirement Community with a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, along with a personal care community.
Luther Crest is seeking skilled and caring individuals to be part of Diakon's Many Hands One Heart team.
Employees are able to use Luther Crest's state-of-the-art Wellness Center including a fitness center, spa, and indoor heated Olympic-size pool.
Tasks will include general maintenance in the following areas:
plumbing, electrical, HVAC, heating, air conditioning, renovation, painting General
Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the maintenance function at assigned locations based on qualifications (General Building Maintenance, Painting and Finishing, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical).
Provides support and assistance to the Maintenance Director by providing leadership in an environment of learning and coaching for all assigned staff.
Responds to building and equipment emergency situations.
Education/Training:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years' building and/or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
