Luther Crest is a large Continuing Care Retirement Community with a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, along with a personal care community.
Luther Crest is seeking skilled and caring individuals to be part of Diakon's Many Hands One Heart team.
Employees are able to use Luther Crest's state-of-the-art Wellness Center including a fitness center, spa, and indoor heated Olympic-size pool.
General
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the Activities and Transportation Departments as well as the Volunteer Program for the campus.
Arranges for, schedules, and attends Resident/Association meetings; presents reports to the residents.
Plans, organizes and directs campus activities program for residents and clients; initiates and promotes activities on and off the campus.
Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
Education/Training:
A Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Recreational Therapy, or a related field normally required.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years' experience in managing an activities department/program or related program normally required Compensation and
