Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum in areas such as physical education, math, and child welfare.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child and communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Plan and supervise activities, including field trips, to enhance the learning experience.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or a CDA - Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check.

Experience in tutoring or additional certifications in specific subjects (e.

, physical education) are desirable but not required.
