Allentown, PA Allentown, PA Full-time Full-time $20 an hour $20 an hour 11 hours ago 11 hours ago 11 hours ago A successful KANE Inventory Control Clerk will work in conjunction with the site Operations Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels in his/her location.

Monday - Friday, 6:
00 AM Start $18.
50/hour 2nd Shift:
Monday - Friday, 3:
30 PM Start $18.
50/hour plus 2.
00 Shift Differential Requirements Associate's degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred; or one-year related experience in inventory control and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages and volume.
Responsibilities Performing cycle counts daily as assigned.
Investigating inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determining root cause of problem.
Pulling slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer in order to dispose, salvage, or donate.
Processing returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory.
Ensuring that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
Participating and coaching LTO's during physical inventories or samplings as requested by the customer to ensure the integrity of the inventory process.
Identifying and researching unique inventory occurrences to correct them prior to having to lock a bay or make an inventory adjustment.
Having a deep knowledge of SHARP standards.
Identifying and recording any inbound SHARP standard deficiencies and recording them in the SHARP database.
Other duties as assigned.
