Project Manager
Our pharmaceutical manufacturing client is seeking a Project Manager to join their project team.
The Project Manager will direct and coordinate new product projects, major product changes and other operations projects.
This also includes the coordination of project requirements among all internal company functional areas and communication of project status to Senior Management.
They will be the liaison among customers, Sales, Engineering, Quality and Operations concerning project issues.
Core Duties and Responsibilities include:
-Maintains templates, SharePoint Libraries, team update meetings, and schedules for all active projects -Attend bi-weekly Sales and Operating Planning meetings as the lead representative for new business development projects, product launches and other product changes or improvements -Receipt and processing of purchase orders from customers for individual projects.
-Works with Account Coordinators (AC) to input project sales orders into QAD, reviews purchase orders (PO), and review project planned work orders (WO) in QAD-Assists in establishing project scope, goals, timelines, and list of deliverables as required.
Development of detailed project plans with the input of the Customer, Sales, Engineering, Quality and Operations departments.
-Assists with project issues, revision of plans, and timelines as necessary.
-Communication of plan implementation status to Sales, Management, Customer and appropriate internal parties.
-Finalize and maintain project charter throughout project life cycle.
This is a hybrid role - training will be on site however over time it will be required to be on site one day a week.
-Experience working directly with clients who are large pharmaceutical companies -Experience working in Pharmaceuticals project management within a pharma company or a CRO / CMO -Organized with an attention to detail, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment-Direct experience and oversight of company initiatives and projects and seeming them through to completion -Worked cross functionally at a pharmaceutical company or CRO / CMO (packaging, labeling, shipping, bottling, etc.
