Pinebrook Family Answers is looking for an Accounting Associate to join our fiscal team.
You will assist with various accounting tasks, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Audit.
You will also use Excell Spreadsheets and accounting software to record and analyze financial data.

What You'll Do:
Assist in the preparation of monthly billing and annual audits.
Organize and execute weekly payment cycles for accounts payable.
Process employee timesheets and preliminary payroll reports for the final biweekly payroll submission.
Document biweekly pension contributions (from both employee and employer), make payments, and update relevant employee pension plan details.
Keep track of benefits, capital expenses, maintenance costs, and temporarily restricted funds using Excel spreadsheets, and perform necessary account analyses.
Manage check processing for the Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan and Flexible Spending Account.
Undergo cross-training to serve as a backup for the fiscal team.

An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field OR 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with general ledger and accounts payable.
Familiarity with Excell Spreadsheets and accounting software.
Knowledge or experience with medical billing, or insurance claims required.
A fast learner and a team player, who can work well with others.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
