Education and Training Liaison

Description & Requirements

Maximus currently has an Education and Training Liaison opportunity with the Maximus Montana Employment and Training Project.
This Project will provide intake, assessment and development of an Employability/Service Plan (ESP) plus case management of participants along with job development, placement, & retention services.
Our goal is to equip participants to be successful in the world of work by building their skills capacity, prioritizing employment, and supporting retention.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching to workshop facilitators on implementing successful strategies to achieve project outcomes.
  • Assist participants in finding jobs by matching their skills and experience with jobs and career opportunities.
  • Help participants with job retention and career advancement services.
  • Work with participants to provide information on how to access government-sponsored programs and receive related program services.
  • Serve in a lead capacity as needed by mentoring and advising lower level staff, and handling complex or escalated issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in training delivery required.
  • A passion, energy, and drive to help individuals find a career that can change the course of their lives.

Previous Maximus experience preferred.

This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.

This position requires you to have reliable transportation to travel to other offices within the region.

This position requires residency in the state of Montana.

Home office requirements:

  • Reliable high-speed internet service
  • Minimum 20 Mpbs download speeds/50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity
  • Minimum 5 Mpbs upload speeds

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.
Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package.
Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
