Director, PEO Tax, Pricing, & Solution Design

OverviewThe Director of the PEO Specialty Solutions division at Paychex plays a pivotal role in overseeing the PEO reporting, Employer Tax Management (SUI/FUTA), Pricing and Solutions Design teams within our Paychex Professional Employer Organization (PEO) business unit.
Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of these critical functions, contributing to our ongoing growth and innovation in the PEO industry.
ResponsibilitiesProvide visionary leadership to PEO reporting, Employer Tax Management (SUI/FUTA), Pricing and Solutions Design teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
Oversee the creation and delivery of comprehensive PEO performance reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
Analyze data trends to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Responsible for management, organization, and execution of inside pricing strategies through solutions design team; including Flex and Prism products and renewal sensitivity analysis completion.
Maintains a strong focus on sales process improvement and operations initiatives.
Responsible for executing solutions in partnership with PEO sales and service teams to re-engineer and simplify processes.
Lead the Employer Tax Management team in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and ensuring accurate and compliant tax practices for PEO clients.
Stay current with tax regulations and changes that impact PEO services and implement strategies to mitigate risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and competitive pricing models for PEO solutions.
Leverage market insights and financial analysis to optimize pricing strategies that align with business goals.
As part of the PEO senior leadership team, identifies ongoing enhancements to the value proposition, sales & service strategy, and pricing approach for the PEO organization to support client satisfaction and future revenue attainment.
Oversees and becomes directly involved in the recruitment of superior talent.
Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of talent to ensure departmental needs are met.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
Act as a trusted advisor, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the PEO Specialty Solutions division.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or another related field - PreferredMaster's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or another related field - Preferred5 years of experience in Progressive leadership experience in PEO, HR outsourcing, or related industries.
5 years of experience in Employer Tax Management (SUI/FUTA) experience.
CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $175,000.
00 to $205,000.
00 annually.
Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
