Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus - Take food and drink orders from guests and enter them into the POS system - Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders to the kitchen - Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and courteous manner - Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction - Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner - Assist with cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests - Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests - Proficiency in using POS systems, - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge of proper phone etiquette when taking reservations or handling guest inquiries - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and serving Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
