- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required - Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment needed for construction projects - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes - Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals - Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings or value engineering - Create detailed take-offs and quantity surveys - Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients - Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required - Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) - Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards - Proficient in using estimating software and tools - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Job Type:
