The Assistant Vice President, Information Technology is responsible for supporting, leading, and inspiring distributed teams to deliver IT shared services across the system and colleges. Responsible for managing relationships with Network Senior Leaders and Entity Presidents, including participation in budget and strategy discussions, and addressing quality of service delivery.

JOB DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

  • Operational responsibilities for IT Applications- Clinical, Financial, Quality and Ambulatory

  • Accountable for staffing via the productivity of team

  • Oversees day-to-day IT Operations including finances and resources

  • Planning, deploying and maintain IT systems and operations

  • Developing IT policies, procedures, standards, and best practices

  • Demonstrated experience in effective communications with business partners and technology stakeholders to gain alignment among groups with disparate perspectives and objectives

  • IT liaison responsibilities to the SLUHN entities

  • Proficiency in managing projects in resource constrained

  • Experience in leading application development efforts using common methodologies, including Agile

  • Aligns IT strategy and operational work with company goals

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, and pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor s degree in a computer systems or technology management discipline, or equivalent experience. Masters preferred.

TRAINING and
Experience:

Ten or more years in technology management or technology customer service. Ten or more years experience managing support Healthcare IT.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
