Examples of work that could be done during the assignment are listed below, but not limited to the following:
Corporate Communications Intern:
Strong writing and editing ability for online newsletters; includes ability to synthesize complex business or technical issues and put them in simple conversational language. Knowledge of desktop publishing or photo software (like Corel) a plus. Knowledge of / experience / some comfort level with new media and web/digital based technologies, i.e. Microsoft SharePoint and related collaboration tools Ability to use social media tools to monitor and facilitate employee conversations and collaboration ( i.e. Twitter, Yammer, blogs, etc.) Basic video skills / knowledge a plus
The assignment is scheduled for 11 weeks . A minimum GPA of 3.2 is required. We prefer students currently in their Sophomore or Junior year working towards a Bachelors in Communications Studies or Public Relations. Strong interpersonal skills needed. Mature self-starter, takes direction well but also able to self-manage in busy fast-paced Corporate Communications department.
