A Performance Coach is a hands-on, hourly position that is seasonal/temporary as determined by business needs. In this position, candidates will be responsible for communicating regular performance and quality goals. Coaches will communicate improvement techniques to warehouse associates designed to meet performance and quality expectations.

Performance - ability to perform the functions of the warehouse role in a high volume, fast-paced environment, and use these skills to motivate and drive performance in the Coach role Leadership Skills - prior management/supervisory experience Communication - ability to effectively deliver corrective actions, motivate associates and give coaching in a manner conducive to the environment Flexibility - ability to adjust schedule, work overtime and be present during the changing business needs
Coach Training
All individuals in the Coach Ramp-up Program will start in a Warehouse Associate role and will work for approximately 3-6 weeks to become a subject matter expert. Based on the individual's development within the process and the staffing need for coaches during Peak, individuals will transition into the Coach Role.
Responsibilities
As a member of the ISS On-Site Management Team, the Performance Coach is the primary touch point for ISS hourly associates concerning their Amazon assignment. As such, the Performance Coach will have responsibility and ownership of furthering a very visible ISS management presence on the floor. The Performance Coach is a unique position that mentors and motivates hourly warehouse associates to be engaged, driven, collaborative, safety conscientious and customer focused.
Functions of a Coach:
Motivates others and builds them to full potential Recognize and communicate training opportunities Maintains product knowledge and follows change management process Delivers training assessments and reports results Provides customer service to internal and external personnel Provides direct feedback to hourly associates on performance opportunities Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to assist the Amazon team with Customer Experience expectations
