Essential Functions / Key
Responsibilities:
Execute on prove-in, operation and maintenance of optoelectronic manufacturing processes.
Design, execute and analyze Design of Experiments to develop new processes and improve yield on existing processes.
Analyze, document, and present process results, including performance distributions and failure Paretos.
Train technicians to support development and manufacturing processes.
Oversee equipment calibration and maintenance programs.
Develop a fundamental understanding of the product and manufacturing processes so that detailed failure mode analysis can be performed on both the product and the manufacturing equipment.
Support lean manufacturing and cost reduction activities on processes and products.

Education /
Experience:
BS in science/engineering req'd. Recent Grad's wil be considered.
Experience in optoelectronics and/or a highly technical manufacturing environment.
Experience in SPC, DOEs and statistical analysis tools (jmp, MiniTab).

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
A desire to be technically challenged.
Willingness to lean new technologies through doing and interfacing with technology leaders and designers.
Willingness to work with technicians, engineers and management to support production.
Proven team player and ability to work effectively with others is essential.
Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects/priority's.
Strong problem solving and data analysis capabilities are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
