Insurance Field Inspector - Allentown / Williamsport / Philadelphia

We are seeking EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS to complete inspections comprised mostly of residential and commercial properties in ALLENTOWN, WILLIAMSPORT, PHILADELPHIA, READING, & SCHUYLKILL
Earnings are commission-based, as each inspection, for each location, is either flat-rated or paid by the hour (determined by the inspection's length and complexity).
Most of the work is commercial lines (90%), and the rest (10%) is residential. We do have some Workers' Compensation field surveys, and experience completing these types of surveys is a HIGHLY significant plus.
The volume of work in the area is 2-3 days' worth of work per week, which will increase if there is a willingness to travel.
For commercial inspections, inspectors travel to business sites, evaluating hazards and safety concerns in general and associated with the business operations. Information is gathered by interviewing the business owner and touring the premises. We have both hourly-rated and flat-rated work in commercial lines.
For residential inspections, Inspectors travel to the insureds' home, describing the structure, taking measurements (for a diagram) and noting hazards & safety concerns. These surveys are typically flat-rated.
Inspectors must have an insured, reliable vehicle, access to high-speed Internet, and a digital camera.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
