Software and Control Validation Engineer

MDI is a systems integration firm that provides clients with a wide variety of automation services. To better serve our client base and grow, we are looking for software and controls validation engineers for our Allentown, PA office. We are looking for engineers who live in this area with the skills to help lead/build this market as well as being willing to travel for on-site projects.
An ideal candidate would be responsible for project management, creating and implementing Validation documents such as IQ, OQ and PQ on Manufacturing Software and Controls. Projects are often very exciting and fast paced with extensive client interaction and MDI's company structures allows for an engineer to be involved in all aspects of a project and business decisions.
Characteristics of Position
- Develop and execute Validation documents (such IQ, OQ, PQ, Validation Master Plan and Risk Analysis)
- Contract work at Customer site
Desired Candidate Characteristics & Experience
- Strong work ethic / honest
- Self starter
- Enjoys variety / learning new tools
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of Validation experience
- Manufacturing and cGMP compliance knowledge
- Understanding of PLC and HMI controls, various platforms
- Understanding of SCADA system software, various platforms
- Understanding of Databases (MS-Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle)
- Microsoft operating systems & Microsoft Office

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
