Senior Software Engineer:
Design, develop, and modify computer software systems by applying principles of computer science or engineering. Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints and to optimize efficiency of existing software by using various computer languages and technical expertise. Store, retrieve and manipulate data for the systems analysis. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or any related field of study that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or in any related position providing the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
In lieu of the stated primary requirements, the company will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or any related field of study that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities, plus at least five (5) years of progressive, post-degree experience in any related position providing the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Individuals must also have demonstrable knowledge and experience with the following:
1. VMware Virtualization.
2. Solaris.
3. HP-UX.
4. Configuring NFS, NIS, NIS
and DNS.
5. SAN and NAS Storage expertise.
6. RHEL (Linux) servers.
7. SUDO and SSH security tools.
8. CCNP Level Networking knowledge.
Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
No travel; no telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
