Job Description: Directs and manages the care of designated patients. Utilizes effective and appropriate communication styles. Demonstrates leadership and team building skills. Supports unit and hospital goals and objectives. Participates in and applies research in practice
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 1 year recent Neonatal Intensive Care nursing experience, applicable to external applicants. Success completion of LVHN NICU orientation program. Passing score in basic proficiency in medication administration examination for NICU. Success completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 4 months of hire/ transfer. Successful completion of STABLE course within 1 year of hire/ transfer. Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN preferred. Prefer current LVHN employees, current acute care RN experience, or (1) year or more RN experience. Professional Certification in Clinical Practice Specialty.
Licensure and Certifications: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure. Current BLS Health Care Provider.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
