Sales Engineer

A national machine tool manufacturer with worldwide recognition is currently seeking a Regional Sales Engineer our growing team to take responsibility for maintaining and developing this region. The right individual will be able to use engineering knowledge and understanding for a consultative sales approach, bringing solutions to manufacturers, job shops, metal service centers and government contractors.

Helpful Experience
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or technical degree with equivalent work experience preferred
Candidates should have 3 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing or be in an industry where one has had exposure to these fields
Experience in the metal fabrication industry is a plus
Solution-based sales experience is a plus
Role Details
Possesses relevant industry knowledge to increase company sales
Handles the responsibilities of travel within the region and is willing to be away from home as much as 25%
Meets with potential customers, listens to and understands their needs, then recommends technical solutions
Maintains a current sales pipeline / database

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
