Addiction Medicine Specialist

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a certified Addiction Medicine Specialist with a strong interest and background in evaluation and care of chronic pain patients to join its Pain Medicine practice. We will consider candidates with a PhD and/or physicians who are board certified in family medicine or internal medicine.
Fellowship training or one year clinical experience in addiction would be preferred. He/she will lead the network's chemical dependency treatment service by focusing on patients with a dependence on prescription medications. The service will not include evaluation and management of patients with an addiction to recreational/illicit drugs.
Our new hire will be employed by Lehigh Valley Physician Group and be based on the main campus of LVHN, located in Allentown, PA just 60 minutes north of Philadelphia and 90 minutes west of NYC.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
