Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
POWER Engineers, Inc. (PEI) is seeking full-time Environmental Specialist - Facilities Siting and Routing Specialist to join our growing team, with a primary focus on transmission line and substation projects in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and responsive professional with a minimum of three years of experience performing routing and siting studies, and preparing siting documents and applications. Experience preparing applications for submittal to the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission (PUC) is highly desirable, as is siting experience in adjacent states. In addition, strong communication and organizational skills are a must. This position may be based in Hamilton or Oradell, NJ, or in eastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
+ Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams which could include engineers, attorneys, planners, permitting and environmental specialists, and real estate experts
+ Providing advice and direction on PUC filing requirements
+ Performing routing/siting studies and analyses and preparing associated reports
+ Preparing PUC applications
+ Supporting rights-of-way acquisition efforts
+ Local travel in PA and some limited travel around NJ is expected (greater than 25%)
+ B.S. or B.A. in an engineering or environmentally-related field of study
+ Three (3) + years of siting/routing experience
Desired Education/Experience
+ Additional complimentary experience could include wetland delineation and stream assessment, erosion control plan development, and environmental permitting and compliance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
