Stress Hardware Development Engineer

Job Description
This position is for a Stress Hardware Development Engineer. In this role you will lead the development of stress hardware to support qualification of SOC and ASIC components through both Silicon and thermal-mechanical stresses. While working with Design, Product Engineering, and Q&R Teams you'll compile product details needed to architect stress boards for Burn-In, ESD, Latch-Up, and Temperature Humidity Bias. In addition, you'll identify suppliers for design and manufacture of stress boards and for executing the qualification stresses. Specifying a burn-in board design involves understanding estimated power, # of Signal Pins, Product Architecture, and Process Technology to enable subsequent deliverables such as, BI Socket (BIS) Depopulation, BIS Design, BI Biasing Diagram, BI Board (BIB) Design, BI time estimations, and BI Bias & Temperature Set-Points. Collaboration with design and product engineers will be required to define BI pattern plans, BI Toggle Coverage, BI Mode Functionality and conversion methods. Once BI Hardware and 1st Si product are received, you will be responsible for First Article (FA) Checkout and Release which includes BI Test Program code validation, data collection and setup to ensure the targeted burn-in stress was implemented. You will work with CCBs along the way for technical guidance and ratification of plans. You will manage the supplier to deliver a production worthy BI Test Program which will be used during qualification and eventually during production.
Qualifications
Candidate should possess a BS degree in physics or electrical engineering and minimum 5yrs of experience in developing stress hardware. Direct experience with equipment design, device testing methods/concepts, process development and high volume manufacturing is highly desirable. Knowledge of 32/64 bit microprocessors, scripting, UNIX, and Perl Programming would be an advantage. Candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, have strong written and verbal communication skills. Require experience with the qualification of Axxia 16ff devices.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
