The Family Transportation and Visitation Program (TVP) is a collaborative program designed to provide transportation to and supervision of visitation between children in substitute care and their non-custodial parents or other relatives. This is accomplished by: Providing transportation for the children and/or families to designated places for their visits. These could include the biological family's residence, a relative's home, a Pinebrook Family Answers or County Children and Youth office, a residential facility, or other specified locations, including sites outside the family's county of residence. Visits can occur during weekdays, weeknights, holidays and weekends at a time mutually agreed upon by Pinebrook, the Children and Youth agency and the family. JOB SUMMARY:? Under the supervision of the Transportation and Visitation Program Supervisor, provides transportation of children and/or adults to visits and facilitates the supervision of visits between children in out-of-home care and their family members with a strengths-based, solution-focused approach that emphasizes full engagement with the child and family members.?S/he ensures the safety of children at all times, identifies and documents clients' strengths, needs, and any risk factors; and may provide families with education/coaching/modeling of appropriate parental behavior.? The incumbent must commit to accepting a minimum of two (2) assignments per month. Court testimony may also be required. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ?Transports clients to family visits and other appointments.
?Abides by all transportation and safety laws and policies. Uses car seats as prescribed by law at all times. Is on time for all visits/appointments. Ensures the safety of clients at all times and adhere to all parameters set by the referring agency. Maintains communication with Program Supervisor and other staff as needed.? Bring information/situations of concern to the attention of Program Supervisor immediately. Promotes the philosophy and mission of Pinebrook Family Answers in the provision of services.Honors and values families, individuals, other professionals and other staff by being respectful in all interactions. Participates in the on-going development of the Transportation and Visitation Program.Actively participates in staff meetings and other program-related meetings. Increases personal competence by attending training activities and meeting regularly for supervisory conferences. Documents all activities provided to the family or on behalf of the family and completes all reports/paperwork within the prescribed time frames.Obtains client signatures on verification forms.Completes visitation report at the conclusion of each visit in the agency e-file system (Welligent). Completes court reports/summaries when needed.May provide families with education/coaching/modeling of appropriate parental behavior.Respects the confidential nature of all information relative to clients and clients' right to privacy as defined by state and federal law, including HIPAA. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
