The Family Transportation and Visitation Program (TVP)?is a collaborative program designed to provide transportation to and supervision of visitation between children in substitute care and their non-custodial parents or other relatives. This is accomplished by: Providing transportation for the children and/or families to designated places for their visits. These could include the biological family's residence, a relative's home, a Pinebrook Family Answers or County Children and Youth office, a residential facility, or other specified locations, including sites outside the family's county of residence. Visits can occur during weekdays, weeknights, holidays and weekends at a time mutually agreed upon by Pinebrook, the Children and Youth agency and the family. JOB SUMMARY:? Under the supervision of the Transportation and Visitation Program Supervisor, transports children placed in foster care and other residential settings to and from family visits and other appointments.? The incumbent must commit to accepting a minimum of two (2) assignments per month.? May also transport the children's legal family to and from family visits. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ?Transports clients to family visits and other appointments.Abides by all transportation and safety laws and policies.Is on time for all visits/appointments. Ensures the safety of clients at all times and adhere to all parameters set by the referring agency. Maintains communication with Program Supervisor and other agency staff as needed.? Brings information/situations of concern to the attention of supervisor immediately.Uses car seats as prescribed by law at all times. Promotes the philosophy and mission of Pinebrook Family Services in the provision of services.Honors and values families, individuals, other professionals and other staff by being respectful in all interactions. Documents all activities provided to the family or on behalf of the family.Completes all reports/paperwork within prescribed time frames.Assists families with signing all verification forms. Participates in the on-going development of the Transportation and Visitation Program.Actively participates in monthly staff meetings.Increases personal competence by attending training activities and meeting regularly for supervisory conferences. Respects the confidential nature of all information relative to clients and clients' right to privacy as defined by state and federal law, including HIPAA. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
