2nd Shift Technical Operator

Duties include:
Applies current Good Manufacturing Principles (cGMP) in all areas of responsibility
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision of the 4 Is: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement
Recommends and Applies process/equipment improvements utilizing the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) principles such as Just Do It (JDI), Single Minute Exchange of die (SMED)
Performs preventative maintenance (PM) of production equipment, including cleaning, part replacement and general PM as recommended by the equipment manufacturer
Maintains safe work ethics
Perform daily and weekly inspections on equipment and supplies
Ability to trouble shoot and utilize analytical skills including but not limited to diagnosing/ repairing equipment problems
Communicates technical information of machinery and processes to the necessary departments such as Engineering, Operation, QA, and Information Technology
Observes machinery to detect malfunctions and ensure the safe and effective operation of packaging machinery in compliance with our SOPs and customer specified instructions
Performs in-process adjustments on machinery to include but not limited to: roll changes, pen changes, Teflon changes, various machine adjustments, assembly and disassembly of various machinery, reloading of components into auto-fed machinery, blow-outs, alignment functions, resetting of pre-programmed electronic counters, and the signing of machine logs for the cleaning and/or set-up of production machinery
Reviews and understands both batch paperwork and supervisor instructions and/or directions to perform the necessary packaging procedures required for assembly of each study
Accepts or rejects in-process clinical supplies according to acceptability standards determined by cGMP, customer requirements and Standard Operating Procedures
Accurately counts and prepares packaging supplies to ensure proper accountabilities prior to job start and at the completion of a job order. Assists QA personnel, production team leads and room leads in staging and reconciliation of components as required
Areas of responsibility may include one or more of the following zones: Blistering, Bottling, Secondary or All Zones
Other duties may be assigned to meet the business needs
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Education/Training
High School Diploma or GED, Vo-Tech or military experience combined with minimum 2 years of hands ? on experience in production and/or packaging environment
Well versed in mechanical applications
Prior experience in one (1) or more of the following is required: electrical, electronics, machining, pneumatics, and/or welding
Ability to read, write, and complete basic mathematical/analytical calculations
Experienced with machining equipment and measurement devices
Internal/External Contacts
This position has internal contact with all production operation employees, engineering, inventory management, information technology, and quality assurance personnel
Must have the ability and desire to interact with people when they are at their best and worst
Knowledge/Skills
Must be able to multitask and respond to shifting priorities.
Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel etc.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to read the engineering drawings and blue prints
Working Conditions
Environment ? Operations
Physical Requirements ? Lifting, Standing, sitting, walking, and typing. Dexterity and ability to perform limited packaging operations. Long periods of standing while working in the production rooms. The physical ability to lift and load up to 70 pounds of materials onto a machine.
Work Schedule ? Monday through Friday on third shift. Overtime and weekend work required to support the business needs.
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Must have prior mechanical and process equipment experience
Must be able to work in the 2nd Shift

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
