Digital Marketing Intern (unpaid)

OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing intern will be assigned distinct marketing projects such as social media campaigns, e-mail newsletters, digital appeals creation and website maintenance using content management software.
This opportunity is appropriate for an Intern or a volunteer looking to gain real world experience in social media and digital marketing. This intern reports to our Asst. Director, Digital Marketing and Asst. Director, Art and Design in our Resource Development department. This internship is based in our offices in Allentown, PA. We are looking for a minimum commitment of 3 months and a minimum of 4 hours per week but have enough work to provide up to 15 hours of work per week if needed to meet your school's internship requirements. Flexible schedule within normal business hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with content management systems
Experience running social media campaigns (primarily YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Linked-In)
Experience with story sculpting; thorough copyediting and headline writing capabilities. Familiarity with AP Style is a plus.
Dependable, proactive, flexible, with excellent attention to detail and good follow-thru abilities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
