Co2 Supply Chain Planner

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a Co2 Supply Chain Planner at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
NATURE & SCOPE: The objective of this role is to achieve cost optimization and maximize CO2 business profitability. This position manages the CO2 supply chain planning activities and routinely interfaces internally with CO2 Product Management, Logistics Management, Operations and Salesforce to provide supply chain expertise. This role is the first line of contact with competitors for purchase/sale of product. Responsible for common carrier requirements to meet supply plans.
CO2 Supply Chain Planners possess extensive knowledge of Liquid Bulk Supply Chain and have strong analytical reasoning skills to solve problems in a fast paced team environment. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting medium and short-term supply plans utilizing Air Products systems such as LBS, Quintig, CSO for reports, and S&OP demand for forecasting. You must demonstrate high proficiency with diverse IT software systems including Microsoft Office and effective written and verbal communication.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABLILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor plant inventories, establish inventory targets which mitigate risk in the supply chain
Conduct supply and demand analyses to include lowest cost solutions to satisfy demand
Conduct weekly, monthly supply meetings for presentation to cross functional teams
Create optimized supply plans for planned/unplanned outages to include supply chain cost impact
Provide analysis of incremental supply chain cost to Product Manager for cost recovery strategy
Identify plant supply/demand anomalies which require corrective action on a daily basis
Incorporate driver, tractor and trailer resources to execute supply plan success
Identify opportunity to redeploy resources throughout the region
Develop and maintain an on-going CO2 railcar strategy for the regional supply chain
Collaborate with Logistics Supervisor to conduct scheduling efficiency reviews to ensure execution
QUALIFICATIONS:
Under graduate degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience. Minimum of three years' experience, with at least two (2) of the supply chain activities listed is preferred.
Logistics scheduling ? planning deliveries to meet customer requirements
Resource planning - driver, carrier, equipment resourcing(tractor, trailer, railcars)
Supply chain optimization ? production, distribution to conduct lowest laid in cost analysis
Supply sourcing ? supply capacity utilization, feed gas source "take or pay" analysis
Competitor purchase, sell supply management: contracts and power management
Business acumen to influence and support commercial strategic decisions
The Supply Planner role requires after hours and/or on-call availability to support supply changes as required to achieve customer demand fulfillment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
