Job Summary
This individual is responsible for supporting all aspects of a sourcing engagement and analyzing vendor product and proposal information involving medical devices.
He/she will be responsible for working with the Clinical Collaborative Committees, Value Analysis Steering Committee, Contract Manager of Medical Devices, and others to develop the supporting analyses which inform the finalization of pricing, contract documents and amendments managed by the Medical Devices Sourcing Team.
In addition he/she will provide administrative support to the Medical Devices Team, support on-going contract maintenance, and support to our clients during the length of the contract.
Decisions are guided by strategic and operational objectives established by the Value Analysis Steering Committee, the Purchased Services Contracting Manager, Operating Committee and the AGPO Board.

Duties (Included but not limited to):
Perform all duties in accordance with internal contracting policies and procedures
Analyze and manipulate large datasets in order to develop insights which inform contract negotiations and decisions
Translate analyses and findings into coherent takeaways in the form of presentations, executive summaries, reports, etc.
Complete analytics as requested by Non-Clinical Collaborative Teams, the Value Analysis Steering Committee, Purchased Services Contracting Manager, and provide assistance when needed
Perform quality assurance on all analytics and data models
Maintain strict confidentiality
Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Basic knowledge of healthcare economics.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, including basic knowledge of financial and statistical information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
Ability to quickly conduct complex analyses and distill key insights from data.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, implement, follow up, the ability to focus, and exceptional time management.
Demonstrated communication skills, including listening and validation, written and spoken skills, tact, diplomacy, and excellent presentation development skills.
Ability to work effectively as a team member.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
