Job Summary
This individual is responsible for assisting in all aspects of a sourcing engagement, including meeting with members, the solicitation, evaluation, negotiation and implementation of vendor agreements for contract areas involving medical devices.
He/she will be responsible for working with the Clinical Collaborative Committees, Value Analysis Steering Committee, Director of Medical Devices, Medical Devices Financial Analyst, and others to facilitate the finalization of pricing, contract documents and amendments managed by the Medical Devices Sourcing Team.
In addition he/she will provide project support to the Medical Devices Sourcing Team and assist in facilitating contract resolution on customer service related issues for medical device contracts as well as providing on-going contract maintenance and support to our members during the length of the contract.
Decisions are guided by strategic and operational objectives established by the Value Analysis Steering Committee, the Non-Clinical and Clinical Collaboratives, the Operating Committee and the AllSpire GPO Board.

Duties (Included but not limited to):
Perform all duties in accordance with internal contracting policies and procedures
Manage a portfolio of medical device contracts
Coordinate loading of all managed contracts into AllSpire's contract management system
Prepare presentations, executive summaries, reports, etc.
Finalize all required document preparation for new contracts
Research information as requested by Clinical Collaborative Teams and the Value Analysis Steering Committee and provide assistance when needed
Meet or exceed contracting goals established timeline
Communicate negotiation status and results with internal stakeholders
Resolve vendor product or services issues
Maintain strict confidentiality
Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of healthcare economics.
Ability to understand common contractual language.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, implement, follow up, the ability to focus, and exceptional time management.

Education Requirement
Bachelor's Degree (or 5 years equivalent experience)
Experience Required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
