Family Support Partner

Job Summary:
The Family Support Partner (FSP) is someone who has the experience of raising a child with severe emotional and/or behavioral health challenges. This provides an empathetic link to the parent through which the FSP supports and extends the work of the HFWA facilitator to ensure the phases and activities, principles and theory of change are accomplished and provides direct services to the parents to better ensure an individualized approach. Core Duties and Responsibilities Provides peer support to parents/caregivers; provides new caregivers with information about Pinebrook Family Answers and the HFW program.Helps families understand the roles of the various team members in helping them develop and implement an individualized plan.Meets the needs of up to 25 families by sharing personal and professional life experiences.Advocates for the "parent voice" and parent's perspective in routine operations and development of the initiative.Meets regularly with the team and provides information regarding the family's story, culture, strengths, concerns and needs.Completes timely and professional documentation as outlined by the HFW credentialing standards on documentation.Keeps supervisor informed of any issues and problems that arise. Qualifications: Life experience of raising a child with severe emotional and behavioral challenges. Minimum age of 21Minimum High School Diploma requiredMust have outgoing personality that supports engaging people from different cultures, ages, and backgroundsPossesses understanding and experience with different systems, including schools, mental health, child welfare, juvenile justice, healthcare and others. Possesses extensive knowledge of community resources and ability to engage them.Proficient using a variety of computer softwareMust be available to work flexible and on-call hours.Must have valid driver's license and insurance, excellent driving record, and reliable transportation.Sensitive to cultural and socioeconomic differences.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
